Seeing as Trump has on multiple occasions diverted his "National Emergency" reasons for applying the tariffs against Canada and Mexico to stating openly his beliefs that the US is getting screwed on trade from both countries, and also said that the tariffs are part of bringing Canada to economic collapse so as to force us to join the US, his tariffs are illegal as under the US constitution only Congress may impose tariffs, and Trump's own use of the 1977 International Emergency Economic Powers Act only grants him additional powers to regulate and restrict items based on the emergency itself, not all trade.
But as the Super Constitution Supporting party is in power in the Executive, Legislative, and Judicial branches of government, they are now going to ignore the US constitution and the law, so it doesn't really matter that it is illegal and the Republicans in congress have no spines.
The Constitutional Democratic Republic of the United States is for all intents and purposes on life support, and the guy who would be king is doing everything in his power to pull the plug.Last edited by mikecole141; 03-13-2025 at 06:24 PM.

I don't know who owns the NHL but I know that NHL does not own the Stanley Cup.
