I requested shipment on COMC just to see what the taxes/duties would be and it was less than $50 on my order compared to over $300 a couple days ago. So it appears COMC has dropped the tariff charge.

I believe the shipping to Canada for a package is where it's always been at around $25USD. And then the usual Canadian tax rate is applied to your purchase on top of that, so I think we're pretty much back to where things were before the tariffs. If the value of your 130 cards is only around $100, then I'd say $44 is a lot to spend to get them shipped. Which is why I usually wait until I have $500 or more worth of cards to ship - then the shipping fee is a little easier to swallow.

YES!!! Tariffs have been dropped. On my order page, it now shows as follows
    Estimated delivery October 17
    $73.74 Regular Parcel
    $28.93 Delivered Duties Paid

I'll port this over from the other thread about why it still shows as a $73+ charge for a 260 card order:

    Postage & Handling US$8.99

    Duty Fee US$3.08

    Item Fee US$0.25

    Add-Ons US$0.00 (Add-ons = top loaders, which are charged at 50c each.)

    Total Cost US$12.32

The above is for a single card. Each additional card you get charged a per-item fee of 25c. 260 x 25c = $65USD

All the same, this is a good day for Canadian collectors.

I'm still confused why you had a $73.74 charge for regular parcel. On their website, it states that for Canada Post Regular Parcel, it's $22.99 with no charge for each additional item. That's all I just paid for a shipment of almost 800 cards.

Well that's interesting. I wonder if it's there because MANY of those cards in my portal are originally from E-Pack. I'll take a further look and if I need extra clarity maybe send COMC another email.

Pricing has also been updated on E-Pack. A single card now only works out to:

    Postage & Handling US$8.99

    Duty Fee US$0.52

    Item Fee US$0.25

    Add-Ons US$0.00

    Total Cost US$9.76

Yes, it's probably because you ported the cards over from e-pack. Their flat rate only applies to cards purchased directly from COMC (which is where all of mine came from.)

Definitely the issue, yeah. Which is fine, goes with the territory. I made two shipment requests today - one is an express order because maybe there's a hot Habs rookie doing a signing in October - and I'm at peace with the shipping costs associated with it. It's unlikely I'll see such a build-up of cards like this again unless UD makes more awesome stuff only on E-Pack like the 4 Nations release, etc. Going to be pretty cool to get one of those big maildays again.
