There bench isnt better than the bench in 04 in my opinion. In 04 they had Corliss, Mehmet Okur, Make James, and Dyess, compared to Hunter, Murray, and Dyess this year.

Unless the Suns knock off Spurs I to think it will be a rematch. Who will have homecourt adavantge?

Webber has been a big help for them this year as well though.

The San Antonio Spurs are 7-0 when up 3-2 in a playoff series, since 1998.

McDyess wasn't on the Detroit roster in the 04 playoffs when they won the championship. He was in 05 till present.

The winner of the Spurs/Suns series will have homecourt the rest of the playoffs.

Spurs defeat Suns. Barbosa was horrible tonight, but Amare Stoudemire played great. He was the only Suns player who played consistently tonight. He finished with 38 pts and 12 rebs. He even hit a three at the end. Nash's efforts at the end of the game were "too little, too late".

Suns are probably the most exciting team to watch. People love to watch them because of their style of play. That generates ratings and you know the NBA wants to make money. So, I ask, why is it the NBA supposedly favors the Spurs? The San Antonio Sterns? Spurs were considered "soft" and "boring". Heck, even after this series people still believe they are "boring" I didn't realize 100+ points was boring. I'm reading a lot of whining on ESPN by Spurs haters and Suns fans. They need to get over it.

It looks like it's going to be a Finals rematch with the Spurs/Pistons. We get to watch some of those "high scoring" 72-71 games and get bored out of our minds. Well, other people will be, I won't that's for sure. The only way I'm watching the Finals is if the Jazz or Cavs advance.

Not knocking on you or anyone else but I always watch the NBA Finals no matter who is playing. I take it from your statement you believe the Spurs are boring. That isn't what I saw in the Spurs/Suns series. If teams learned to play defense then perhaps they could go to the NBA Finals.

I'm not a big fan of the Spurs at all (Duncan is a beast though) and I absolutely despise the Pistons. I usually watch the Finals, but I'm not trying to give them any ratings for this rematch, as I was bored the last time these teams met in the Finals. I'll just watch the highlights on ESPN and possibly record the closing games just to see the trophy presentation.

Why is good defense boring? Trust me this series (Spurs/Pistons, if it happens) will not be boring. Wallace will throw tantrums, Ginobili will sacrafice his body for some amazing drives to the bucket, Eva will be there, etc etc...
If you just have to see a "SUPERSTAR" in the championship series...relax.
Lebron, Wade...you can see them all in the commericals during halftime and breaks....:)
