Also the Suns came to play. They are knocking down their shots and playing more physical on the boards. Suns fans are behind them 100%. I hate the excessive booing though. Poor Tony Parker. lol

While I have to give a nod to the Spurs for gutting that game out, I would rather have given myself a sober tattoo with a rusty nail than see Bruce Bowen hit the three pointer to clinch the win.....

Also, you can't say they would have won that game easy with those guys. If you noticed the game plan had to be different on both sides. Shawn Marion was the main focal point for the Suns offense. He wouldn't have had as many points with Amare/Diaw in the game. Suns played small ball and the Spurs played their regular style for most of the first half. They adjusted to the Suns play in the second half and came out on top. The game certainly would have been higher scoring if the two teams were at full strength.

Btw, the more I watch Horry's cheapshot the more I'm humored by Nash's reaction. He gets body checked into the boards and flails his arms backwards and lays on the floor motionless for like two seconds. Watch it up close. Its pretty dramatic. Must be the soccer genes in him. Even commentators have said that Nash threw in some extra drama. Then he jumps up and ambushes Horry. This whole incident is so blown out of proportion. lol

Watch the video at 1:37 to see the up close camera view of the hit.

Nash's reaction does not excuse Horry's cheap shot.
Your right about the incident being out of proportion though. But I think that the league is at fault for that with the suspension of amare and diaw.

I was watching it right when Kobe posted it- he said that in the interview postgame on TNT. I was going to type the same thing but he beat me to it.

I've read a lot ot "crap" articles on this whole situation, but this one is probably closest to my feelings. Very well written.
