just my opinion, but i think that the celtics were incredibly STUPID to do this trade. the wolves were not getting any farther then a 1st round playoff elimination every year, so they made a change for the future. this is gonna be like AI and C WEBB. pierce is going to think its his team, meanwhile two other stars are thinking the same thing, and it will be one big mess. also, in about 4 years, who's going to be there "STAR". Ryan Gomes. they wont even win ten games when there gone, and when they are here, they wont even make it to the championchip

Agreed. That's exactly what he brought to the table when he played for the Suns a few years ago. Great pickup for the Celtics. So far, they have had a great offseason.

I wouldn't say it backfired, they did what they had to do, and it almost worked...it really only failed because Stockton absolutely man-handled Matt Maloney in that series!!

HUUUUGE KG Fan here.....my wife says I have a man crush on him.......LOL

I have to admit I threw up in my mouth a little when I first heard about the trade....always been a Sox/Celtics hater...been traveling to Boston every year to see KG play against them...all dressed up in my KG Jersey and T'wolves face paint...even went so far a few years ago as to have my barber shave the T'wolves logo on my head.....now I'm faced with becoming a Celtics fan....having to buy all new Garnett Jerseys and Tee's....paint my face Green & White so I look like the Riddler, better get the barber to start practicing the shamrock......come to think of it...rather than having to target the one game a year KG comes to town....now I can choose from 41 home games!!! Think I'll buy little green #5 jerseys for my kids and bring them to a game this year as well......bottom line...McHale couldnt assemble talent around KG and Danny Ainge just did! I cant believe I'm saying this...but Ainge is looking like he knew what he was doing all along......GO CELTICS!!!!
