The ugliest one for me was Lawrence Taylor ending Joe Thiesman's career. Didn't need the replay on that one over and over.....

Not the worst, but most recent. Bullard of Fulham FC had his knee bashed into the opposite direction. Saw it live, was aweful.

Oh boy, I cant remember the person.. About 5 years ago there was a Detroit Lion football player who got hit the wrong way. They smashed his spine and there was serious thoughts that it was broken once they saw him.. Took a good half hour to get him off the field and he never played football again.

Well this was a bad injury....I mean he was lucky to live through it.

Now, I know of a funny but not serious injury.

Former Cardinal, Met, etc outfielder Vince Coleman was run over by the automatic tarp as it was rolling out onto the field. I think it did break his leg, but it certainly wasn't as bad as that skate accident
