    Joe must go!

Penn State really is pathetic. What's Joe going to say this week?

Aside from the fact that they lost to a good team, Joe Pa has earned the right to leave whenever he wants to leave...

The world (outside of the internet) has too much respect for the guy to flat out tell him he's starting to embarass himself by believing losing is the best they can do.

i DESPISE penn st, but live in the heart of lions country so thought id weigh in.

first, paterno does very little these days with respect to what happens on the field. he is fairly involved with recruiting, but doesn't do much coaching at all.

also, the college and 95% of the fan base support joe pa - as long as thats the case, he will be there another 20 years!! he brings in MILLIONS a year to penn state, and we all know that money is all that matters.

the real problem in happy valley started when they fired jerry sandusky years ago!!

I suppose as long as the fans and school are happy with an inferior football product, Joe won't have any pressure on him.

Why do you think the loss of Sandusky was so important?

I love how quickly things turn...

2004 - Everyone was calling for his retirement

2005: 11-1 Orange Bowl Champions (beat Florida St.)
2006: 9-4 Outback Bowl Champions (beat Tennessee)

Nobody said crap about him during these two seasons.

2007 - Lost two in a row to a Michigan team that was a predicted in the preseason to be the Big-10 champion by most prognosticators and to a very improved Illinois team and now people want his head again.

Coaching on the offensive side of the ball is terrible. They obviously had no familiarity with Michigan game tape and their senior quarterback looks like a freshman on the field. There is no continuity in play calling because Galen Hall calls run plays, JayPa calls pass plays, and Joe trumps them when he wants to.

I'll try to find some transcripts from his press conference last week and you can read about how well he thought the offense played.

lol, no....there wont be any pressure - the school and the fans are 90% of college football (and as long as he brings in money, the school could care less)

sandusky had alot to do with the football operations on and off the field - was joe's right hand man.
