    Well obviously the fans don't want there teams to be represented in the All Star game, or they would be. It would be very easy for one player in every team to be in the game, but the fans just don't want to see it. So no, I don't think the fans would be behind it.

    Other factors could be accounted for to front-load the rules around the voting and the selection of the reserves, like in baseball. Just an idea...

    I would actually prefer if each team gets represented, the Warriors and Kings are always getting shafted in voting, but I just don't think the fans want it that way.

    nice idea, but then roster would have to be expanded and it would water down the game cause everyone would only play like 5 minutes. if no expansion, then how would you decide betweeen like tmac and yao, j. kidd and vince carter, or nash and stoudamire? it's easier to pull of in baseball and football because of so many players on the field, but with 5 on 5 is hard to represent 32 teams.
