yea, it's B.S. I mailed out three packages today with ONE CARD in each, and it came to a total of $3.49. Normally, it would have been around $1.70. Rediculous. For how crappy of a job the USPS does, they don't need to jack prices up even more. What a joke.

Well I knew for a whole month the rates were going up. But had no idea that they would jump to this insanity.

Ditto, but I was hoping #000 padded envelopes would be considered "large envelopes", in accordance with...http://www.sportstradercentral.com/a...highlight=usps.
I believe it has something to do with whether a piece of mail can be machine sorted or not(?). I saw a post to this effect either here or over at NUTS a little while back...Maybe one of our USPS members can help shed some light on the reason for the higher rate increase for packages
I hate to raise my eBay S&H fee and I think this USPS rate increase will affect business on eBay, at least for lower dollar transactions. Already today I have bid less than I previously would have on a couple auctions, in order to compensate for the increased S&H.

I guess it's time to hold on to cards instead of doing multiple separate trades and shipments with the same person until I get a decent stack to send. I'm going to try shipping all the cards at once in the same padded envelop or box once a decent stack is collected for trade or else the new rates are going to hurt trading badly.

Yeah this is a killer for low end traders!
As far as Ebay goes I do factor what I pay including shipping on auctions I bid on. So someone with $5 S&H will get a lower bid than one for $3. Now higher end cards I'd rather pay a little more S&H so I know it will get to me in one piece!
