Let me broach this question. What do you do if a Buyer says he does not get a package but the seller has a DC receipt. The Reason I ask is I can have numerous guys post here that DC is not even worth the paper it is written on. As I have had 2 packages in the hundreds of trades I done over the years and even though they said they were delivered THERE WERE NOT! As the DC only confirms that the item arrived in the city it was meant to delivered too. So just posting that DC is not a perfect system (CLOSE) but a copy of a postal reciept to the same area code is pretty much the same proof as DC.
Just wanted to hear what you felt on that per se? Signature confirmation is a whole different ballgame.

NAXCOM - Non Delivery
In the event that the seller provides documentation and they are denied an insurance claim by their post office, then both the buyer who claims to not have received the item and the seller would have to sign a legal document. In those rare occassions NAXCOM would then return the funds to the buyer and not reverse the sale to the seller.

there is a huge flaw with naxcom... that being you are not here to help the little guy... i have sold on naxcom for quite a while and have taken several losses because i cannot afford to put DC on a item that i sell for a few cents... if i sell a card for a dime... which is quite common for those people just trying to complete a set etc... i get like 93 cents from it... i know it sounds piddly but after buying a bubble envelope for a quarter and 64 cents to ship it..... i am making roughly 5 cents... i add DC and i lose money... there have been a couple times, not on a transaction this small but one similiar to it where i will make maybe 3-4 dollars on a card but if i use any confirmation it makes it pointless to use naxcom.... if you have a big ticket item that you want a certain price for it is fine but i think you guys take buyer protection to the next level... also, some people on the site do know about it and take advantage... it only takes one time to turn people off.

tutall,
We feel that we have been able to grow the way we have because we do attempt to cater more to the little guy. That is how we grew our trade-shows to the largest shows on the West Coast in the '90's and it has been that same philosophy that has helped up grow online as well.
Unfortunately for the Internet though, when there is a .10 transaction everyone losses (except for the Post Office). The user has to pay $2+ Shipping, the PayPal or Credit Card fees are .40 cents, plus the costs of the Post Office and postage supplies. On NAXCOM's end we already have the "internal" costs just for the listing and transaction to be made, but if there is a reversal, now the costs of customer service reps to get involved means that NAXCOM now lost money on that .10 transaction.
We keep track of buyers who claim they don't receive product and we feel are taking advantage of the buyer protection. In 6 years we have kicked off a few users that we do not believe are telling the truth. While it is very uncommon, we have done it and we do make sure that buyers don't take advantage of the buyer protection.
So we do care about the little guy more then any other major online marketplace on the Internet, but sometimes there is only so much you can do.
Thank you Tutall.

I agree with what tutall says, but the same thing could happen on ebay so it's not really a valid argument

I actually have another problem with Naxcom........nobody sells Cases of Hobby Boxes!!!!! On Ebay there are like 20 for each product, how come nobody sells them on Naxcom? I know it is not Naxcom's fault, but I was wondering why this is so.
