Yesterday I got former White Sox player and announcer Tom "Wimpy" Paciorek, 2 cards signed for a small fee at an appearance in Waukegan, IL.

The 1987 Topps is my 250th in the set!

Yesterday I went to the 1st ever game of the Joliet Slammers (previously the Joliet Jackhammers) of the Frontier League.

There, I got two autos on 8x10's of former Chicago Cub Carmen Pignatiello, 1 auto each on cards of former Chicago Cub Billy Petrick, former Twins farmhand Erik Lis, and former Orioles farmhand Jake Renshaw.

Finally (and the real reason I went), I got 5 autos of former Los Angeles Dodger great Maury Wills, who stole 104 bases in a season, breaking Ty Cobb's record in 1962, including one for my 1987 Topps set (Turn Back the Clock)

Today I got Chicago Bears tight end Greg Olsen, 4 cards and 1 8x10 signed, for a small donation to charity, at an appearance in Skokie, IL.

Also today I got legendary Chicago Cub, and member of the Baseball Hall of Fame, Billy Williams, 2 cards and 1 OMLB signed, for free, at an appearance in Northbrook, IL.

Thanks, sorry for the crummy photo with the glare. He was incredibly friendly, personalized if people wanted, but didn't insist on personalizing, would sign bats, balls, photos, cards, etc. He even borrowed someone's phone and chatted with her husband, and joked with a small child who had a White Sox hat on.
