Not to slam Barry Sanders, but the man could not score. He would get dragged down from behind all the time and they would bring in a bigger back in on goal line situations. In 10 years he had 99 rushing TDs. Also, I get sick of hearing that Barry had "no offensive line." That is bogus. He had a line that was built for straight forward rushing and Barry would consistently run 50 yards to gain 15. It was NFL line and was not any worst than most NFL lines at the time. I watched Barry run through his entire career and his line was not that bad as people make it out to be.

where is the love for earl campbell in this argument for rb's, you can dance around like all the pretty boys like sanders and them did, but why when you can just run thru them like campbell did. that man was amazing and under appriciated

and for the qb debate, people OTTO GRAHAM was the grestest qb to ever play forget favre, marino and montana. the fact that in a 10 year career he made it to the finals every year he played and won it all 7 times says it all

You tend to fumble more than twice as much when clotheslining is an acceptable tackle, and you never run out of bounds.

barry spent so much time running back and forth in the backfield because his line couldn't open holes, how does that make a "o" line or any particular player good? besides the pro bowl, as has been stated on another part of this site, is a popularity thing.

yes otto graham was the best qb of all time. this statement says it best

Otto never missed a game as a pro while passing for 23,584 yards and 174 touchdowns. Graham finished his career with an astounding 105-17-4 regular-season record.

He took Brown's teams to the title game in each season from 1946 to 1955. Winning it all 7 times. 3 x mvp. This is far superior to anything any other qb has dished out

Best back Payton, image what he could have been with a good team around him all the time. Earl Campbell close second, love the back who loves to dish out the punishment

Emmitt of course followed by Walter. You can talk about the great O Line and all that but it comes down to heart. Emmitt was all about team and that made him a champion. Barry, well he quit on his team.

Best all round with the stats to back it up? Yes

THERE IS NO WAY THAT EMMITT WAS BETTER THAN PAYON AND SANDERS AND JIM BROWN AND THEM HE WAS PUT ON THE BEST TEAM LIKE SAY THE PATS RIGTH NOW AND WALTER PAYTON WAS ON A CRAPPY TEAM FOR OVER HALF HIS CAREER AND HE STIL GOT GOOD YARD SHE HADPROBABLY THE SORRIEST LINEMAN EVER!!!!!
