As much as I hate to say this...... maybe Ottawa...maybe Vancouver.... maybe Calgary? If it had to be a Canadian team. Detroit, Colorado or Dallas for US based teams?

I just hope the leafs replace John Ferguson Jr. before (if) Sundin waives his no trade clause. The Raycroft deal was idiotic right from the very start and i would have rather kept a draft pick than take Mark Bell in the Toskala trade. Ferguson is THE worst GM.

The worst move the Leafs made was getting rid of Pat Quinn. Everyone thought they should have done more with what they had....I think he got the best he could out of what he was given. How many times did they give him players at the end of their carreres and expect miricles. You can have all the talent but with out proper direction the team is lost......look at what Hitchcock has done with Columbus.... Quinn is the one that kept that team focused.
Even Scott Burnside agrees..... in a recent article talking about new coaches for Atlanta.
"Quinn played in Atlanta and he's used to coaching teams with huge lineup deficiencies, ....."
