We have an ouija board and sometimes we get it out and talk to my mamaw. Its so weird because she'll answer everything and when she says its gonna happen it usually does around that time. And just the way the board acts and stuff mom says she acted the same way. Its so weird to think about how you can see/hear/talk to the dead but its really interesting and fascinating!

I would steer clear of those at all costs. Those are said to be able to summon demons and other not so nice spirits. No matter who your attempting to contact, this open's the gate for many others to enter.

That happened to me once. I woke up on the couch and was staring at the ceiling above me but couldn't move, talk, or anything. I freaked out and felt like I almost couldn't breath either. It was totally weird. Luckily I totally woke up after a few more minutes I guess (it seemed like a long time though).

Jayjagfan did a good job explaining it, but here are my thoughts on it as well. What you are referring to here, is called "Astral Travel", where the belief is you have an "out of body experience." It is where your body is said to stay in one place, but your spirit is released (but still has a cord attached to your body, so to speak) where your able to do just about anything.

I had one experience with one of these wija boards and I regret it. I'd reather not explain the whole deal, but what we conjured up wasn't human and spelled out D-E-V-I-L. We immediately stopped and my buddy threw the darn thing in the garbage. I'll never be involved with another "experiment" like that again. The spirit/demon or whatever it was was answered our questions and then things started happening in the room I can't explain (foul smell, knocking, etc). That's when we asked their name and was scared out of our wits

You spooked me with that! Iv'e heard of way too many, and seen on "A Haunting" what damage those can do. My buddies wanted to do one of these after poker one night, and I just left. Im honestly not sure if they ended up doing it or not ...
