    Brett Fare

he needs to retire. he has blown are season beginning w/ the cards. yes he has had his moments, but there are some great rooks this year in that position for the draft this year, so maybe brett needs to put up the gloves, but i am sick of him. marques anderson is embarassing also.

Bullcrap, yes it was a stupid play but he should not retire. The defense blew the game, 4th and 26 and couldn't stop em. What a devastating loss. ((

I agree...favre still has what it takes to help his team constantly win.

But Favre showed today that he is not comparable to Joe Montana

    Just like Elway, Marino

Since the 1970s, Montana is #1 by far and away.

    4 Super Bowl tries
    4 Super Bowl wins
    3 Super Bowl MVPs

Marino may have more yardage, more TDs
Other QBs may have better stats.........but no one is better than Montana

yea but i think that by keeping brett that they will do something dumb and look the other way when we need to draft a qb. that or a strong safety cuz anderson is embarassing.

4 and 26 cuz donatell is a jackass and plays a 3 man back and has sharper back up and let mitchell run. they shoulda won ther. anderson was supposed to pick up mitchell. he did a wonderful job of that. and yea mckenzie got hurt, one of the best cb's in the game.

One play doesn't lose a game for a team. There were plenty of reasons for the loss. Sure it was a bad decision but Favre is one guy I would take on my team over any of these other QB's. He is one tough SOB and one of the greats. I agree with POD that he is no Joe Montana but is still one guy I would choose to lead my team into the playoffs.

I like Favre, despite his Packers kicking the sh*t out of my Niners in the 1990s

Here's hoping he keeps playing for a few more years

a tremendous player with lots of guts and passion for the game

definite first ballot Hall of Famer
