Favre can be an effective QB well into his late 30's as long as he stays in shape. I don't see that being the case but he'll end up leaving with gas left in the tank. Favre won't leave the game with diminished skills. He wants to go out on top like Elway. That's why he said if the Packers won the Super Bowl he would seriously consider retirement.

favre will come back strong next year .he is to much of a great ball player to retire yet.......

you guys favre is old but he can still play, look at marino elway they were old and still palyed like favre
