Olivertoxxin- I totally agree with you! the other item I recently had to return was a 07-08 UD Nicklas Backstrom (Capitals) 2 color patch rookie materials which was even sweeter than the Ovie!!! Same issue around the Patch "Creases" from being pressed together by that dame machine!!! NO MORE WHITE ENVELOPES, NO MORE WHITE ENVELOPES, NO MORE WHITE ENVELOPES!!! OK sorry just had to get that out of me because I just had to send back two really nice cards I really wanted!!! DAMAGED!!

i once had a guy send me a card in a white envelope with no toploader and nothing around the card at all. it pisses me off that i take the time to buy the bubble mailers and take the time to go into the post office to pay the extra postage and then i get my card and it is in a plain white enevelope.

If worse came to worse and you couldn't make it to the store to buy bubble mailers. If you do enough trading you could save a few bubble mailers you get in the mail. just don't destroy them when opening your cards. Then just fold the told of the bubble mailer and tape. This works I have done this alot when I can't get to the store to buy bubble mailers. Or when I am broke and only have enough money to ship my trades.

i always re-use bubble mailers, they are usually good for 2 trades unless the envelope took a beating. plus this helps save paper a litttle.

I always ship in a bubble mailer and I have never had a problem. The only time I ever send in a PWE is when it is agreed upon prior to accepting the trade and when I am sending base or inserts. I refuse to send a GU or auto in a PWE because I would not want to be in the same situation that Darryl87 is in.

eh i dont really see a problem with it. the only thing i get nervous about is if there is a ton of cards, or it rips through the envelope in the process. i alsways send in bubble mailers just to be safe, and i like to get bubble mailers in return for good cards, but for 1 or 2 cards (unless its a big value range), i dont mind. when i do TTM, i always just send the card in a penny sleeve, with an SASE, in a PWE, and when they come back they are never damaged.

I'll never send a card in a PWE, regardless of how much it's worth. Not all cards sent in a PWE get mangled, but the chances of that happening are significantly greater.

If the creases were by the patch cut out, isn't it possible that those were done while the card was produced and not while in the post office ? I completely agree 100% that gu'd cards should always be in top loaders and a bubble envelope. I'm just saying that from my own personal experiences from cards that were sent to me in bubble envelopes that still had the creases around the jersey cut outs. Some people just don't pay attention to the condition of their cards or they just fail to let their trade partner know the true condition.
