What To Do When Being Ripped Off???
what do all of you do when you are clearly getting ripped off and you know it and the other trader does to proably. i saw in a highend thread. someone really needed money so they post a thread for a durant auto saying theyll sell it for 100dlvd and it books 250! first reply "it sells 85-90 on ebay so ill give you 55"?? 55dollars on a 250durant auto!!!!
anyone else clearly see something wrong here?
i myself have been tried to get ripped by others, i never use profanity or get mean or nasty but i get very heated. especially when i show facts and the other person still wont change there mind.
what are all your feelings and what do you when this happens or if it happens to you?

i would prolly move on too unless they send the card to a mod first and then you send funds. if they really need the money and have the card, you will get a steal. if not, oh well

No one is getting ripped off. This is a market place. You have a product and an offer to buy, along with the opportunity to negotiate. If you don't like an offer, you don't have to take it. Hopefully, you'll find a price where both parties are happy.

I was offered 100 dollars on a PSA/DNA Graded Authenticated Joe DiMaggio AU on a Ford Frick ball. I ignored them at first, but they were consistent. So I removed it from my bucket, and told them that it was no longer ft, then they started offering cash/card deals that were even more insane, so I just ignored them until they left me alone, but I would have loved to tell them to expletive off, but you can't on this site, so I kept my cool, but I know what you mean bowleron, it's getting old dealing with some of these people. And as for the Durant, if I had the money I'd give him 100 dlvd, because it's a darn good price, trying to squelch him for it, especially when it's the guys that have good ratings is a little bogus.

that was my whole point. 100 on a 250 durant is less than 50%bv on the best rc this year. 55 is nuts its almost like when i got offered 20dollars on a 1/1 justin verlander 06 fleer tradition pressplate!

Reasonable offers vary from person to person, so that's just what that person thinks they would pay. The other person will probably not take it if they feel it is a rip off, but it didn't really hurt that someone made an offer (unless the person wrote something like they would not budge from the 100 asking price).

well the person says i will sell for 100dlvd, i dont recall that there was anything of it being negotiable. but comeon this person pretty much wants the durant for 20%bv!
