I really wish I could remember my first GU and my first pack pulled GU! It was over three years ago and I was just getting back into the hobby.

The first one I pulled was a 1999-00 BAP Millennium Goalie Memorabilia Curtis Joseph which I traded that day for future considerations as my buddy who owned the shop was a CuJo collector. It went towards some Niners game-used/autos and some Luongo game-used.

Heres the card that officially got me back into the hobby. I bought 3 packs, and pulled this, still have it today, for some reason I just can't let go of it. I went back to the hobby shop and got some more packs and pulled a quad GU, so I was hooked.

here is the story of my first gu. i remember looking at the back of a beckett with d wade on the cover staring at the topps JE and luxury box adds drooling looking at the jersey cards and how cool it would be to have one! so one night my mom suprised me and my brother with two 04-05 fleer tradition blasters. my brother was opening faster and pulled an amare stoudemire gu. he almost passed out. i was sooo jealous. and then a couple packs later i pulled an AI.....the nice silky white jersey. best moment of my collecting days was that night....

I have been a ZO Big Fan since 1994.
But I couldn't get ZO's 96-97 Skybox Autographics and first 97-98 1:2,500 Game Jersey.
Because at that time it was really hard to get those in my country.
Then I nearly traded others to get these 2 ZO cards.
97-98 Z-Force Super Rave Shareef Abdur-Rahim BV 200$ at that time
(At that time, Rahim was not moron. I also collected Rahim but it was lucky to get this card)
<-> 96-97 Skybox Autographics Blue Alonzo Mourning

I have to send Kobe 98-99 1:288 Yellow Jersey to get this card and others
Kobe Yellow Jersey(at that time BV was around 500$)
<-> ZO 1:2,500 Jersey, 98-99 Skybox 33 OF 50 Jersey #ed ZO, 96-97 Z-Force ZPEAT 1:1,120 ZO
(ZO was 250$ at that time, Rubies was 150$ maybe, ZPEAt was around 50$)
