With the 19th pick in the 2008 NBA Draft, the Cleveland Cavaliers select Chris Douglas-Roberts, guard from Memphis.

LeBron needs someone to help take some of the scoring load off his shoulders, and CDR can do just that. At 6'7", he can drive to the hole or pull up for the jumpshot. His size and versatility allow him to play both inside and outside, as he creates match-up nightmares for opponents. What the Cavaliers really need is a reliable big man (Zydrunas is by no means reliable), but with no outstanding prospects left on the board they take the best fit player for their system.

Great pick! I think if the Cavs get him, he would complement LeBron very nicely.

With the 20th pick in the 2008 NBA Draft the Denver Nuggets select.........

    Chase Budinger
    Birthday: 5/22/1988
    NBA Postion: Shooting Guard
    Class: Sophomore
    Ht: 6-7
    Wt: 215
    College Team: Arizona
    Hometown: Carlsbad, CA

After a ton of deliberation we have decided to select Chase Budinger out of the University Of Arizona. We feel he will be able to start right away at Shooting Guard. The starting lineup we will have during the 2008-09 Season will be: PG Allen Iverson, SG Chase Budinger, SF Carmelo Anthony, PF Kenyon Martin, C Marcus Camby. We think he will bring his high basketball IQ, his great jump shot, and his explosiveness on getting offensive rebounds. However although we feel he is is a good offensive player, we also think he needs to work on his defensive qickness a little bit. We feel with this addition that we can compete with the best in the west. Watch out Lakers here we come!

Looking for Kobe Bryant, Lakers, Blake Griffin, Swaggy P!

Just wanted to say great job to all the GMs so far, I don't really get into the draft or college players but it's been fun to read your picks and it's been a fun "event" :)
