SCF 2008 NBA Mock Draft Final Results!

ok here we go.
with the fourth pick in the 2008 nba draft, the seattle supersonics select jerryd bayless, from the university of arizona.

Position: Point Guard
Height: 6'3"
Weight: 193 lbs

Analysis: We decided to pick Jerryd at this spot because we need another person to team up with Luke Ridnour. Ridnour hasn't been performing to the level that we had hoped he could be, so we picked Bayless to bring his lightning speed, great passing and ball control, and amazing shooting to seattle (or whatever the heck city we are now). Another reason we brought in Bayless is to have another ball-distributor to feed the ball to Kevin Durant, and so Kevin had another player he could pass off to. We're hoping the tandem of Durant and Bayless will be enough to add another 15+ wins on our belt this year.

Dj Augustine University of Texas
He is a sleak moving guard and can play small forward as well. A easy pick. He canplay small forward, Sg and Pg. He is the steal if he falls here. Great well rounded mechanics.

Actually, he was an Academic All-American. GPA 3.5 or something.

ESPN mock draft says this:

The skinny: The Pacers need a long-term replacement for Jamaal Tinsley, and they are crossing their fingers that either Augustin or Westbrook is still on the board when they pick. Of the two, Augustin is probably the better fit in Jim O'Brien's system.
Augustin is an excellent floor leader and can really shoot the basketball. Another bonus for Pacers fans is that he is an excellent character guy.
