I almost died today
here is the story. my mom, brother and myself took out our jetski for the first time this year today and everything was going great, but as they went to get our car to take it home there was a male swan, female swan and 3 baby swans, and as i saw them i got scared. swans scare me the most out of anything in the world, and i was starting to freak out since they were very near our trailer so i didnt get close. and as my mom and brother were waving me to come in i saw the swan start to flap its wings and run towards me and i just SLAM on the throttle and get the heck away as fast as i could. my mom loves swans and use to feed them everyday when we lived on the lake, so this shocked here. i ended up having to dock the boat at a near by house since the neighbor said the swans will be there for atleast another hour or so to protect there babies. my mom and brother thought it was hilarious but i wasnt in to good of a mood and this just makes me more afraid than i already was. i ended up saying if i didnt listen i wouldve gotten attacked and possibly killed because swans are very powerful and i was in the water even though i had a life jacket on, it can only do so much
have any of you had this type of expierence?Hidden Content

With swans? No. But a somewhat similar experiance at Chuck-E-Cheese a while back.
Not sure which is scarier...
The one who wanders around and always ends up right behind you when you turn around
or mechanical Chuck-E-Cheese and his gang...
Either way, very scary.
I guess swans will be right up there with Chuck E. Thanks for the warning, and glad to hear you made it out ok.

Glad you're ok! I dont think I'd be as afraid of worms now if people didnt act like they were gonna throw them on me or put them right up next to me. I'm terrified of them now and cant even look at them!

I've not had any experiences with swans....now bats, thats another story...I've disliked bats since I was 8 and I was sick with the flu, camped out on the couch....one got in the house somehow, and was flying around the living room. It came over me a few times before flying into the wall directly behind me and flopping on the back of the couch, onto my head....I guess I was pretty hysterical....my little brother, who was 2 at the time, was looking at the bat, pointing, and saying "Birdie! Birdie!"
This is hilarious to me now, but it wasn't at the time, and I still don't care for bats.

How did you almost die?? I'm confused... probably not the best "header". Saying U almost died is a pretty serious claim dude.
Thats pretty much like someone saying that they almost died because they started to cross a road, and then a half mile away saw a truck coming, so they stepped back on the curb.

Sounds like a swan intervention. Tell the swan how he makes you feel. lol.
You should maybe invest in a BB gun.
