Nope. No swan stories. I'm terrified of worms though, so I understand your fear. I used to play with them when I was little. Then for some reason, I started to hate them. I don't know why. And eventually I became afraid. Now I'm terrified! I can't even look at them without getting scared!! It's an uncontrollable fear.

OMG now that was a good laugh..... Swans can be very mean and agressive so your fear is well noted. Anyone know the peacocks will attack you? My friend sent me into their pen and their peacock and Swan chased me out of there. I was in my early 20's and still didn't want a piece of either of them. Thanks for bringing back the memories.
Glad you didn't do something stupid like drive off a waterfall to escape

While I'm pretty confident that I could take on a swan.........
I DO NOT want a confrontation with ANY animal, regardless of size, that's protecting it's babies.

I have a fear of big dogs. I used to like them a lot when I was 4 or 5, used to love dogs. Then, when I was 6 I would have to walk to and from school. And one house I would always pass had a big vicious dog. It didn't have a fence around it, it was just tied to a tree and it would always bark at me, and I would walk wide of it so I wouldn't have to get near it. Well one day after school, he was loose. he started chasing me and I ran back to my school about a block back and tried to get back inside, but he got to me before I got to the school and I was knocked over. Someone driving saw and he was driving half his car on the sidewalk honking his horn to scare the dog off. The dog ran off, for the most part I was alright, didn't get bitten or anything, but ever since I have not trusted many dogs.

Yes i am bumping this over one year old thread...because there was another swan attack...lol
My brother was bringing the wave runner in, and the "Dad" Swan starting coming in faster and faster at him, my brother saying "its fine, he wont do anything" Then it starts coming faster at my brother, and he jumps off the wave runner onto my neighbors pontoon boat, and waits 30 minutes for the Swans to leave, gosh do i hate these filthy animals!Hidden Content
