well swans are known to injure and/or kill. i was on a jetski with almost no gas left and this swan went after me, if there is no gas left which there was barely any i am attacked and in deep water since it's a lake. you can't even imagine how scary it is unless your in that situation. and a life jaket only does so much for youHidden Content

By whom? I grew up on a lake, around plenty of swans, and have never heard this. Yeah, they'll come after you but its not like they have razor sharp beaks or anything... its a bill... just like a duck. It's flat and rounded. Just grab the stupid thing by the neck and either throw it away from you... or if you're feeling especially vicious, give it a good jerk in the opposite direction and you've got dinner.

the male will protect there babies and there wings are so strong they can break almost any bone in your body. if they feel threatned or there young is threatned they will try to attack, and with my fear of them i hate to be 20 feet distance minimum from them

lol, my advice is to stay out of the woods where the animals that CAN kill you are!!
there is a big difference between being scared of something and it almost killing you!! its a freakin swan!! ive been attacked by geese before, never thought my life was in danger, lol.....last i looked i was near the top of the food chain for a reason!!

One time I was at work, it was winter and I walked out of this house we workin on and there were 3-4 wild turkeys, the male raised his wings, and what he did next will forever be etched in my mind... he took his left wing brought it across his body and basically wrote a line in the snow! Pretty much tellin me, hey pal you pass this line and its on like donkey kong!!
I assume he was protecting the others he had with him, and the awkward thing about it all was I pretty much had to walk passed them to get to our work truck, I was probably 6 feet away from them when I walked right in front of em... they never attacked or anything, but it was definitely wierd. I felt as though he was sending me a message. Lol
Bowler, how old are you? were talkin about a freekin swan here... Now that I look back at it, yeah it was frightening at the time, Id kick a wild turkey to the moon now a days... A swan too, I mean come on youve never messed around with some friend in the water before? Like Haybierman was sayin grab his neck and pull, you got dinner!

The Swans were slow to arrive, and after admiring themselves in the wibbly wobbly reflection of the car spot lamps, came over for a snack. They played nicely and took the bread gently. Just as well for such a big bird. All was fine until the bread ran out.....

"WHERE'S MY BREAD?" Legs were pecked, pockets examined, cameras lunged at, and finally....
