as far as the rest of the conversation most time they are more than willing to "trade in your favor" sure 20 nickels is still a dollar but its not the same.
There are still good traders on here you need to go through a lot of lousy buckets of stuff you dont want. I look for certain cards. I don't want to waste my time trading for a card im not happy with now.
And as for the people that dont want to pay for the shiping (magnet holder bubble mailer Dc and postage) maybe I will ship PWE

thanks for the compliments on the bucket, but a lot of the credit also goes to other traders, because without them the bucket wouldn't be as nice as it is, and all i'ld have is a ton on 91 and 92 pro line autos. :-)
mjbowman; the cards were sent to the players to sign, appearently fred dean, like mike webster for some reason didn't send them back signed, and maybe kept some and gave them away or sold them. i know thats where the mike websters came from.
i saw a ebay seller from england with a sammy baugh signed card. appearently he was able to get a signature after the set came out before baugh passed away, but baugh wasn't able to sign for upper deck. i seriously think we are talking forgery here.

well. i guess im fortunate, like bearfield i find the easiest thing to do is put someone on your ignore list.but i get sometimes. hey i like x and it has 100bv-150bv maybe and all there is is 10-20bv stuff. i trade down but not that much. and i find new traders have no idea on the rules because i always get asked. i liked this....i say its incoming and scf rules dont allow trading incomming cards. they say. oh i didnt know that...of course not because these new traders have no idea about the rules because most of them bump threads to early, make the same thread a million times etc.
end of my rant, but there are some good new traders! just not many

The problem I find online (as newer online trader) is no one is willingly open to discuss trading Marino cards. Most collectors have a soft spot for Dan and will PC NFT his cards in a heart beat, while still having them openly available for trade. In fact 90% (over 3 trade sites) of my trades come from peoples PC... I have never received a negative response by asking if a fellow collector is willing to trade from their PC, and if they are please feel free to look through my bucket. So, I try to extend the same courteousy. We all have PCs and with the limited nature of our collectibles, when one finds a card #/25 or 50 that one needs, is it so wrong to ask?
I think as far as the OP's issue, I can't agree more, but in some cases I think the person you are trying to contact may be asking to make the trade a little bigger, just not communicating well. If you asked me for an $8 card and all I saw was a $50 then I would let you know, in hopes that you could find anoth $40-50 in trade. In all honesty, an $8 trade is getting harder and harder to complete with the new postage rates and rising costs of all goods. In fact 9 times out of ten, if I knew you and your needs as a collector... I'd just send it to you! Its just not worth the headache of trying to find an even $8 trade, because honestly, even for future trade bait, what's decent at $8?
