Ebay Scammer [rant]

spend 38 dollars on a chris paul quad patch card... never received it, complained to paypal. i won, but they can't give me the refund. WAT THE HELL?

any suggestions? what am i suppose to do. 38 dollars is big money for me.

stupid scammers, i freakin hate them. thats 40 bucks gone out of my pocket.

i've heard all these buyer scammerse, but what about these seller scammers? damn... and his account was verified, so there should be no reason why i can't get my money back.

this is what they said.

We have decided in your favor, however, we were unable to recover any funds
from the seller's account. As stated in the PayPal User Agreement, recovery

i think its because he closed all his accounts in that time requirment before paypal can decide. stupid rules.... first he closed his ebay account, immediatly i contacted paypal, and we had to wait for a reply from him for 10 days... in 10 days, he could have easily just closed all his accounts.

ask for his personal info. phone number. give a call, if no answer tell you will contact his local police, because its illegal, what he's doing to you

Exactly. I tried to purchase an iPod a while back for 300 dollars and I was scammed. Luckily we contacted the guy through Paypal and what not and all the money was returned to my account. I wish you the best of luck -- eBay scammers should just be shot.

hey couldn't recover the funds because his account has a balance of $0.00. It doesn't mean it is a closed account, in fact, he can'ty close the account until disputes/claims are settled.

If sells again and has the money paid into that PayPal account then PayPal will usually take the money out and send it to you.

I'm like theproudestmonkey and would like to know the ebay sellers Id, also he could have closed his account if he did it before the dispute was filed. I've never had any problems getting back my money from paypal when the seller doesn't send. Wish you luck on getting your money back.

sadly, can't get any info on him. and even if i did, i don't think the police would do anything cause his description, it says hes in philippines. oh well, lesson learn i guess.... never buy anyone from feedback under 10, and check when he made his account.
