Just keep it clean, this is an all age site for trading. If you all wish to send me some money every month I will make up a price guide.....isn't that what beckett does? Theres never been a clear cut method proven to us the buyers they have a clue.

There's only once compliment I can give...the Organize search is awesome. I love being able to search for a player and finding out how many 1/1's, autos, memorabilia he has. Not to mention print runs are also listed. This was a great addition...but the negatives far outweight the positives.
Am I correct to say that it will cost you $200+ for an online subscription for one sport?

I believe you could do the player search before. But the print run addition was the only positive i could see.
Someone mentioned Tuff Stuff. Is there more than 1 guide for them, because the only one i've seen has all sports jammed into one and they hardly list any insert sets. I would gladly jump ship if there was a viable alternative.

Yeah, I just got back online from my cable modem taking a dump. I went to Beckett first off to see if the 2008 Playoff Prestige cards have been priced yet. Knew it was slim to none, but hey, worth a shot right. I don't have much time to sit and wait on them, when the organizer thing popped up, i cancelled so that I could get to my collections. AHHH NO COLLECTIONS. Doh, I just messed up my beckett now and have to wait for them to respond about how to get my collections transferred. They say to watch the video's and not jump right in messing with stuff. I DON'T have time. I'm working 55+ hours a week and when I want to mess with cards, I don't wanna research how. Totally bogus of them and really irratates me. I used to get the tuff stuff mag but like someone posted, they don't show alot of cards. Plus I need the complete list of cards in a set so I know what I need exactly.
I liked that about beckett. Im working on 1994 Fleer Football and 1994 Skybox football right now and I used to be able to open the set in beckett, click the cards I needed, then as I got them, click to delete. Now, looks as though that is gonna be to much work and time to even bother.
Maybe if they want to have their fancy little new site up, then set up a server for the old stlye and change the web address or something. Geh, people know how to ruin a perfectly good thing.

There is no more available pricing in 'My Collections' or Organize as what its called now. You have to pay/subscribe for any kind of pricing as far as I understand it. The 'free' pricing in My Collections was a big reason why I even used Beckett. But now, I will hardly ever go there any more. The Beckett staff is spewing so much PR and spin, its working against them even though they want you to know it.
Maybe most people will get wake up from Beckett having a hold of them, and use real market values for most cards. Beckett was never really an 'arbitrary' value guide, though it was nice to at least have some kind of comprehensive guide as a reference. They really messed themselves up from greed.
Another thing was that they kept the site change under wraps for a long time. I mean, people knew they were beta testing, but there was never any real info out in the open on it until a few days before they actually changed over to the new site. You would think a company like Beckett would have handled it much better knowing its customer base. If they did so, there would have been a much more positive response.

thats insane bucknellbison was one of the most fair and fastest traders on beckett.........
and I remember when all the MODs said tradering will still be free so don't tell other members it's gonna cost money to trade until they read the new rules.....
and he's 110% right about most MODs being d'bags
only 1 mod was any help
you had one that would never reply when you asked a question
then you has another who wanted to pick online fights with people just because they had different views
and then they way they banned people for little reason yet some ripped of alot of people and where aloud to stay on for ever with not even a suspension
I remember a bud of mine got banned and asked me to be the middle man so he can do all his trades out and the deleted the post....
