I was 25 when i had mine. I am 27 now. They didnt want to do surgery on me as i was so young. I had different injections every other week in my spine, months of physical therapy. more injections, then finally they sent me to a surgeon. Atthat point i was in real bad pain. couldnt stand for more than a couple minutes. When i would bend to sit or get up i would almost fall down from the pain doing that. One time i actually did. Couldnt bend down t oget my son out or put in his crib. Wasnt very fun. I am much much better now and glad i had the surgery. My bac kwas never very stong, but i can tell it gets tired quicker now than it used to before my initial injury.
