And if you say it's a gateway drug because you get a buzz and realize you want more, then like Red said, cigarettes and alcohol are just as bad or worse and we can throw things like Ritalin and caffeine into that category as well. The only reason marijuana might correctly be considered a gateway drug is that it is the most prevalent illegal drug available and once you start doing illegal drugs, why not keep going. But guess what, if it's not illegal, then that theory is dead. It would then be on the same level as alcohol and cigarettes...they give you the same buzz without legal troubles.

Their are other article more in depth of the money that is brought in from this, but I will admit it's not nearly as much as what we put out!

OK, I guess I should've at least acknowledged that I've heard of this before...The bottom line is the IRS defines gross income as "all income received worldwide and domestic" and it doesn't matter if it's legal or illegal income. This is how Al Capone was convicted in the 1930's for tax evasion.
However, only after you are convicted, you are usually given a fine and not a tax bill...at least that's how it works here in Pennsylvania.
Furthermore, not that its any of my business, but YOU were caught with 2224 grams of cocaine??? Are you writing us from a state penitentiary or awaiting trial? In Pennsylvania, 5 pounds of cocaine would probably get you a 10 year sentence at least.

No after 14 months in court I finally got the charges of conspiracy to trafficking cocaine, mantaining a dwelling during trafficking, and pocession of a firearm during trafficking dismissed because the warrant was not legit....lucky me however I havn't been back to the game since november of 07and just got clean and sober in june of this year.....well i have officially spilt the beans on myself.

good luck man. before i was in the Marines I had almost the same thing but I was just the driver (knowingly) and it was with weed. 5 pounds and a shot gun in the trunk. My buddie and I both were arrested but then later dismissed bc the cops wernt legite. I cleaned up and joind the marines. have been clean (besideds my recent precripitions) sience may of 01. I believe you can do it man!

thanks every1 for the support....and redgonewild I'm not really for or against it's not a hot topic for me I just always like playing both side of an arguement to get people recactions....ie always in an arguement w/ my mother I will take the opposing side of her to see where she stands and usually I already am on her side just like to play devils adcovate i guess:)
