I thought it was the best speech he's made during the whole campaign.....and I loved last night when he said I didn't come out here to talk about the vision (bc everyone else will do that this week) but to talk about the MAN BEHIND TEH VISION.....which once again makes me compare the 2008 presidency to this:

If I were the CEO of a fortune 500 company and I had two resumes for a job which person would I hire...John McCain is better for the job and task at hand.

    Giuliani just stole your anology...

Only problem is if you were a CEO of a company, you would have more than two resumes to consider, and you would've been looking to fill that position long ago because the other guy would've been fired already

I saw Fred Thompson speak last night...I felt like I was watching Law & Order reruns on TNT

One thing I can't help but notice between the RNC & DNC....why can't these people just let them talk??? The audience is clapping and cheering every 5 seconds...just shut up so I can follow the train of thought without being interrupted

I guess...they kept mocking him about being a community organizer and for the "clinging to religion & guns" quote...and it didn't seem like they had much else

I guess this conversation belongs in the Giuliani thread, however the point is that clearly Obama is not as qualified as McCain to be the president UNDER the current circumstances of our country

ok...i understand the point...I think mikesilvia will tell you that neither of these guys are very qualified because they're both senators and Sarah Palin has more executive experience then both, which I happen to agree with to an extent

I think what you're saying tho is that because we are fighting a war in Afghanistan and Iraq that McCain's military experience makes him the more qualified...I however don't want to be fighting wars and don't want a military guy who talks about them like they are football games that need to be won...When you go to war, everybody loses....I don't like hearing McCain saying things like "let us win this war" or he'd "rather lose an election than lose a war"

He did say back in 2003 that Iraq would be easy, now he says whoever led you to believe it would be easy was mistaken
