ok...i understand the point...I think mikesilvia will tell you that neither of these guys are very qualified because they're both senators and Sarah Palin has more executive experience then both, which I happen to agree with to an extent

I think what you're saying tho is that because we are fighting a war in Afghanistan and Iraq that McCain's military experience makes him the more qualified...I however don't want to be fighting wars and don't want a military guy who talks about them like they are football games that need to be won...When you go to war, everybody loses....I don't like hearing McCain saying things like "let us win this war" or he'd "rather lose an election than lose a war"

He did say back in 2003 that Iraq would be easy, now he says whoever led you to believe it would be easy was mistaken

I've heard you say this before, but I do not recall ANYONE saying this war would be easy...no war is easy on the foolish american people thought this war would be easy! I agree that neither are the best choices for presidency but the MORE qualified is McCain and now that he has Palin makes his ticket a lot stronger....because she will help him push for drilling!!!!

I mean, interpret it how you want...but he said what he said

In late 2002 and early 2003, Sen. John McCain (R-AZ) was a fixture on cable television, assuring Americans that an invasion of Iraq would be “easy.” “I believe that the success will be fairly easy,” McCain told CNN in September 2002. “We will win this conflict. We will win it easily,” he told MSNBC the following January.

I think he made a great point I agree that war is wrong however we are in war and have to deal with it! and on top of that I believe he is saying that unless we send more troops(at that time) then it wouldn't be easy.....I believe he is also saying that it was easy once we gained control...meaning easier than previous wars, easy as it can come(I mean it's war what did u think he meant by easy? that we would just send troops and talk the al queda into giving up???), and easy to just send more troops
