Well, if you don't see the humor side of the stuff they do, then you are taking it too serious. Some of their antics are over the top, but like the celebration T.O. had, it had nothing to do with the other team. He didn't make fun of the Browns, or tried to flaunt anything in their faces.

T.O. celebration had a reflection of Usain Bolt from the Olympics. He did beat the CB and S really bad like he blew by them. So the endzone dance to me was to say that he was fast and couldn't be caught. I really don't care what the person who scores a TD does. I could see it going too far if they ran up to the referee and ripped the mic off and said "Hey did you all see that", other than that, let them have their 5 seconds of glory.

I thought the penalty was that his hands were on the ground. not his knee.

besides getting paid millions, he still needs 5 seconds of glory/attention.
My thing for doing a good job was payday, and i didn't do no dance or pull out a sharpie and sign the job when i got my check.
Does bill gates or warren buffet do anything when they do something good?
Maybe its just me, but some of the stuff the showboaters do is very classless and unprofessional.
I'm done here, either you agree or disagree with me, and i'm not changing anybodys mind.

the NFL takes so long in between plays, I don't think it affects the game play.

I agree with the having fun thing, but you need to define having fun.
I'm pretty sure the other teams fans aren't having fun.
I'm at home, and i'm not having fun, no matter which team its for.
Are the officials having fun?
So, its ok for some "jerk" to hold up the game and all the fans, and the people at home, because he's a childish simpletonton that wants attention?
I guess the antics that bother me the most are the ones that say "look at me" and how silly i am. Give me attention. I'm like a 2 year old, where is my binky? I need to grow up.
I THINK THE DIFFERENCE IS THE "LOOK AT ME" DEMONSTRATIONS.
My thing for doing a good job was payday, and i didn't do no dance or pull out a sharpie and sign the job when i got my check.
When was the last time you smiled man....good god U take the NFL waaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaay too serious. Take a deeeeeep breath, let it out....relax, it's gonna be OK!!
They get paid to entertain, not to lay bricks, or be Cops, or Lawyers, serve fries etc.
Something tells me it's a little deeper than just not liking "antics". The whole "I don't dance when I get my check" thing is so overplayed. I bet U would dance if you got his paycheck for one week!! I know I would!!
Also, while you ask to define "fun", I ask to define being a true "professional". What does that mean?? Just because U think it means having to hand the ball over to the ref after a score, doesn't make that the definition.
We get it, U hate "certain" people, thats obvious, but it doesn't slow down the game more than what Aaron Rodgers did, were you cursing when he did his much longer celebration, something in me says it didn't bother you one bit.
