My local shop required a $5 purchase, but they (surprisingly) had reasonable prices so I bought some packs. Anybody want to trade basketball for football, racing or hockey?

I took my son today. The shop was absolutely packed. The UD set has some real nice cards of the real big stars in hockey, basketball, and baseball.
No age requirement there. Both my son and I got a set.

I also got the package from my card shop that I go to but haven't opened it up.
I don't know if I will for awhile.
A side note, I bought 4 packs of Topps Chrome Basketball and got a Anthony Refractor. YES!

crazy how they're going for $10-$20 on EBay right now.. I'm wondering if the cards will be pretty valuable in the future since they're going to be scarce, or if they'll go low in value since they were free.. tough to call

I would guess low because of them being free. I'm not sure how scarce overall they are, but the trick will be areas that didn't have any dealers giving them out nearby would probably be willing to pay more for them, or trade higher value cards.
