Portland, OR
Summers - a few days over 90 degrees and sunny almost every day during the summer
Winters - a lot of rain. October to March is rain.
Beer - more breweries than any other city in the country. Even more than Denver.
Hippies/Homeless - too many of both.
People - are actually really, really nice. I wish more people in the country were as nice as half the people I've met and seen here.
Outdoors - tons of things to do. An hour from Mt. Hood and an hour from the beautiful Oregon coast. Also Seattle is up to the north and Mt. St. Helen and Mt. Rainier are up there. To the east is desert.
Casinos - yeah, there's a few.
Sports - Portland Trailblazers. Portland Beavers (AAA-San Diego). Portland State Football (cheap plug). Or you can go see the Oregon Ducks or Oregon State Beavers.

Sounds nice, But I dont think Portland has the most brewery's in the world, its denver and milwaukee with that title.

I live in Ashland PA, about 5 minutes away from the Great (or not great) Centralia PA, you know the mine fire.
