Don't laugh but I think Brad Pitt would be a great Captain America
I will never laugh at Brad Pitt, guy is a great actor. I wouldn't want to see him as Cap though. I can picture him doing a lot of different roles, but that isn't one of them.

I'm sorry, but does it really matter who plays Cap? He's one of the most boring characters in the entire Marvel Universe. Sure you need someone pretty athletic (Damon is just too short, even if he did want to do it), but you're not going to get any good dialog out of him no matter who you stick behind the big white A. Bring Clayton Moore back from the dead.

I'm really not sure on this as I've always really liked the Captain America character. I think a younger Val Kilmer (even though he was already batman) might have been a good choice but probably not now.
