well look at it this way, if both mcdyess and billups can be traded than its apparent there on the last year of there contract's and have the possibility of a trade in it also so im pretty sure thats the case here.Collecting All Current Las Vegas Raiders, Carmelo Anthony, Ken Griffey Jr, Bo Jackson, Frank Thomas.
plus many more, Also any Legend or HOF raider players as well.
Just getting back into the Hobby so not much tradebait but have some stuff just let me know what your looking for and i will see what i have, No trade List Available yet but i am working on one.

I think this is a great trade for Detroit. McDyess and Billups are on the downside of their careers and both for an $20 million expiring contract is a good plus. I can see a very good lineup, with Iverson, Hamilton, Prince, Amir Johnson, and Sheed. With Kwame getting a second (or third) chance in his career and Stuckey coming off the bench, this can be a dangerous rotation.
Iverson might get motivated to play in an Eastern conference which is up for grabs, so I see this as a good move by the Pistons.

The bright side of this trade is, A.I. is a more dangerous scorer than Billups. So he could open up Hamilton and Prince more on the perimeter.

I think in the long run it will be good for Detroit and just as good for Denver.

Wow...this is a good deal for both teams, but not a great deal. The Pistons get that expiring contract they need to try and sign someone in 2010, and Denver gets rid of one of the 2 bad attitudes. This'll be interesting to see how each team does.

Actually Billups has 3 more years and 4th yr team option.
McDyess has 2 yrs left on his contract.
So... That means Denver needs to keep paying luxury tax for the next 2 or 3 yrs.
And I agree with demonpower, I really think this will motivate Iverson as it might be his last chance to have a serious run at a championship.
East is up for grabs so you never know what will happen.
For Denver, this move is a serious flaw in my opinion. We dont know how much Billups can be productive as he never was until he started to play for Detroit.
Also, they are stuck with a big contract of his for at least 3 yrs.
Detroit is def a winner.
As I said b4, if it doesnt work, they simply let AI go at the end of the yr and bring in another huge FA.

ooh wanna throw daggers???
how many title's did billups have before he went to a "Team" with actual Talent and good coaching?
And garnett how long was he on the wolve's and how many title's did he get there?
so its not a single player title its a team title so dont throw out dagger's without knowing fact's about a title,Its Team Base'd and not a Single Handed victory...!
