I'm 100% against guns for reasons already stated in this thread. They simply are not necessary. Hunting? Too bad; humans have evolved to the point where they don't need it. Protection? Very seldom does one protect oneself from an agressor with a gun.

To eliminate all guns, we need to start by thoroughly documenting ALL gun owners. After the illegal owners have been fazed out, ban guns outright. Documentation obviously proves who has them. Sure, there will be a few who secretly has them, but, again, they'll be fazed out.

This is the most moronic thing I have ever heard. You think banning guns will really eliminate them? Ever hear of cocaine or heroin? Last I checked, they were illegal too, but don't people still get their hands on that? Criminals will still get guns, even if they are banned! All you would be doing is taking away innocent peoples right to defend themselves!

Lmao! Are you serious? Wouldn't us using our superior brain power to create guns, and using guns to kill an animal trying to attack us be survival of the fittest?

You are right! We have survived without firearms! And we also have survived without heating, air conditioning, electricity, television, cars, computers, and phones! We should get rid of those too!!!!

AND WE CAN'T CONTROL THE PRODUCTION OF ILLEGAL DRUGS, HOW DO YOU EXPECT TO CONTROL (OR AS YOU SAY ELIMINATE) THE PRODUCTION OF GUNS? CRIMINALS WILL STILL GET THEM!

If you can pass a background check you deserve to be able to own a gun. IF you do something illegal thats violent in nature you should have to surrender your gun and never be able to own one again.
