I don't agree or disagree. I'm not Catholic.
All I'm saying is that one person's "insanity" is another's religion. The part I find funny is you are being intolerant because you see the Church as being intolerant.

THAT church, yes. Please show me where I have indicated otherwise. Any regular in this forum knows my position on the church. You're ill-informed, my friend.

I don't see how he is bashing the church at all. He's calling the pastor a moron. I spent a year in Christian schooling (long story) but didn't Jesus himself dine with prostitutes and other "sinners" and treat them with respect and equality?

    Do unto others, I guess.

man I hate hearing stuff like this. I know it is real and I know these nutcases exist. Problem is, there are thousands of churches across the country and the ones you hear about are these so everyone begins to assume that is the majority.
The AP never does an article on someone that went to church at enjoyed themselves and nothing controversial was said!

Redgone and Jamming - I am sorry those things happened, especially at times such as those.

Same thing can be said about muslim churches. But no one cares because they are all turban wearing terrorists.

And you won't see it from the AP because to show a muslim, any muslim, in a less than flattering light would be seen as racist and/or racially intolerant in this ridiculously pc world we're in right now..

[SC bashing]Reason #451 why I hated living in South Carolina...Super Overzealous Religious Folk. Yes they are everywhere, but they seem to be especially outrageous in SC.[/SC bashing]

I remember the first "Obama is a Muslim terrorist who will ruin our country and take the office with his hand on the Qur'an/Koran" email from our secretary at my last job down there...ah the memories.

as a catholic, when you recieve communion, you are recieving the body of christ. We also have reconciliation in which a church member goes and confesses his sins to the priest. Sounds to me this would be the best place for the obama voters to go and ask for forgiveness. We all sin, but still can receive communion, the two have nothing to due with each other.
BTW, I dont think its a sin to vote for a canidate that you believe in,even if they support something that is a sin.

I would also be able to answer any questions on the catholic religion.
