I would probably make the switch back to XP. I've heard nothing but bad stories from people about it, and from what I'm told of Microsoft Office 2007 (all that works on Vista I believe, they royally screwed it up when the designed Office 07)

Not true, I have office 03 on one computer with vista and my other i have 07

07 wayyyyyyyyyy better i love it

I have a 64-bit version of Vista, not 32-bit. 64-bit completely prohibits all 32-bit programs such as PSP 7.

Ooh ok. That makes sense then..

I have 64 bit vista at work, but i can run 32 bit versions of browsers. I don't know much about how it works.

I also have a "Virtual PC" set up, it is basically an XP environment on my Vista machine, so you could look into that if there's any programs you need to run that work only on XP. Unfortunately I don't know how to set it up, but I bet it's in the manuals or i bet it's on the internet somewhere.

Sounds like the Virtual PC helps those programs to work. I don't have that, so when I was trying to get the old 32 bit stuff to open, I would get a popup telling me it refused to do it because it wasn't compatible with the 64 bit Vista.
