I can remember going to a store and everyone was asking if the guy had J.T. Snow cards. He was selling out of them once he got them in at 3 bucks a card.

Actually J.T. Snow had a nice career for himself. I'd put him up with the likes of Hal Morris and Dave Magadan as guys who had alot of hype that fizzled but when you look back had more than respectable MLB careers. Snow if I am not mistaken won a few gold gloves and could hit a little bit.
How about the likes of Mike Harkey, Ty Griffin, David Silvestri, Roger Salkeld, and Mark Lewis

How about when autograph signers at shows used to talk for a couple minutes with every person who stood in line for an autograph of their hero?

Haha I remember sitting at Cardinals Spring Training when JD was a rook and I was talking with Ricky Bottalico and Andy Benes (turns out he is married to my old neighbors daughter so we talked for quite a long time) down at the bullpen and he gave me a bunch of packs of Rookies and Stars and I pulled a couple JD Drew rooks. And everyone around me was like in awe of this little kid with JD rooks in his hands. I had no idea about JD at the time and just held on to it, I should of sold it at the park had I known but I was like...13-14 years old or something and didn't understand the market of cards at the time.

I remember being on Beckett a lot in those days - I was strictly basketball even then, but people would ask me if I had J.D. Drew rookies.
