I understand people wanting to keep their base, and I respect it but I dont quite get why people seem so offended that not everybody has the same feeling they do concerning base cards. If I buy boxes, and dont want to keep stacks of base cards, or go through the hassle of finding somebody who wants them, thats my choice. Im pretty sure it isnt a crime against humanity to throw away base cards that few people want in order to save space and avoid agrravation from something that is supposed to be fun. Just my thoughts though.

I agree. I have tossed base because I don't have the space to store them. I don't feel the need to keep every single card I get.

I have donated hundreds of cards to the Texas Childrens Hospital in Houston. They treat terminally ill kids. They love to get them and they don't go to waste. So, if you have a place like this in your town, I think they would appreciate the donation. I have used some at the deer lease too, to start a camp fire.

Great job. I can imagine how it makes the kids feel. Way to go.

As Alfordron, Glebe, etc. have stated, try donating to charity when it's available. Not all charities accept cards, but sometimes you can just leave cards at a YMCA, and the kids will be glad to collect them. I left some 03-04 UD Standing O basketball once there.

Even donate them to your local police station! They'll give them away to kids in your city. I've thought about doing that where I live - not because I don't want my base - just because I'd like to see kids look at the police as their friends...who knows, someone receiving something from an officer may stop them from doing something illegal in the future.

Nathan Nathan Nathan, thats sending the wrong message, we all know the police aren't your friend...if they were they wouldn't pull people over for going 1 MPH over the speed limit (No this has not happened to me, i haven't been pulled over!)

I stuffed all of mine in my closet. They're nice and safe.
