Trade: Magic/Rockets/Grizzlies
Marc Stein: Looks like we have a fairly significant three-way deal that has been submitted to the league just before the trade deadline.
NBA front-office sources tell ESPN.com that Orlando is acquiring Rafer Alston from Houston to fill the void created at point guard by Jameer Nelson's shoulder injury.
The Rockets will receive Memphis guard Kyle Lowry, Orlando forward Brian Cook and perhaps two other minimum-salaried players to make the finances work.
The Grizzlies will receive a first-round pick from Orlando.

Fairly significant deal, but not the blockbuster type trade that many have been expecting.

Thats the biggest trade announced so far. Not sure who wins here. Will wait until the other two players the Rockets received are revealed.

Good luck to Rafer! He has been a great hardworking player! He'll help the Magic, but also hurt them. Isn't Magic a 3 point shooting team? Good luck with Rafer! Haha.
I'm glad we got Lowry. We have two young (decent-good) point guards in Brooks/Lowry. With Tracy and Rafer out of the way, they'll get some great experience this season. Of course Lowry's shooting is horrendous, but his shot selection is a lot better than Rafer.
