I really have no clue...never done any bear hunting or kept up with it much at all. Most of what little I have heard is 300-500lbs, but that's in my area, may be bigger down there.

Due to work I haven't hunted much in the last couple years. But I did just get a new 870 Express Super Mag. My boys and I will be doing up land Game birds this year. Also got a new 22 LR Remington Camo Syn Stock and a nice Simmons 4x32 22 Mag scope. Will try my luck with that too. The Salmon are in as well and will be Fishing with my boys next week end. Sorry no Photos of previous hunts. Lost those in the Divorce.lol

The 870 Rem is a hard shotgun to beat!....My son uses an 870 20ga. And for myself, I have an old 870 Wingmaster that I use for just about everything..And as far as .22's go the remingtons are hard to beat threre also. I use a speedmaster and never had any trouble out of it.

This is a friend of mine from Louisiana. He killed this deer in East Texas. We still give him crap about slipping over the border and killing OUR deer.

Yeah there great firearms, The only trouble with my 22 is I bought a 30 round clip for it from Remington and it is Poop. Keeps jamming up and sticking. Im going to get those 17mm rounds and do some varmint hunting too this year. Rely cool round. its a 17mm in a 22 shell . Looks like a big boy round.. I had some money trouble and had to sell my MR-7. Boy was that one of the best 30-0. any ways later that day I 6 I ever owned. I drooped it on the ground from a tree stand and thought I through off my scope. Leupold and still took out a knot hole at 150 yards. I thought I missed and my bro said no you hit it dead center. shoot it again. So I did and blew the whole knot out.Any ways later that dai I bagged one of the the coolest non typicals I have ever seen.prob the uglest rack Ive ever seen too. lol. Any ways I got tons of stories. Ive been hunting since I was 10 and will be 40 in sept.. But the best hunting hands down is with my Sons. Theirs an old saying that has stuck with me for years. Got from a old timer on the trail. Its best to hunt with your kids that to hunt for them. You teach them the great outdoors and to respect the land and all that grows in and on it and they will be fine Men and will also pass in on to their kids as well. Any ways Im rambling.
