Griffin may be quicker but i'm saying they play different, Dwight plays off his size and Griffin off his speed...how do you then compare them together?
r u trying to say griffin doesnt use his 6'10 frame effectively in the post. cuz as i believe it was you who stated earlier, or maybe you backed the person up, he has no game outside of 10 feet and cant shoot free-throws. NEITHER CAN DWIGHT!!!!!!!! griffin is just as effective in the post as dwight. was dwight the same player he is today as he was when he first came out, no. dwight was a 12-10 guy when he first came out, cuz all he could do was dunk. now that he is developing a better post game he's up to 21-14. im not saying blake is gonna put up a 20-10 average as a rookie. but i guarantee hes close to averaging a double-double

my bigger i mean his mass not height, the mass of Dwight is noticably more than Griffin, and we all know Dwight is much MUCH stronger, Dwight is ripped, Griffin may look stronger in person, but i doubt he has the muscular strength of Dwight
as i clearly just stated, griffin is only 14 pounds lighter then dwight. keep in mind also that dwight is 4 years older then blake... dwight was listed at 6'11 240 pounds. granted, blake is now a year older then dwight was when he came into the draft, but thats still 11 pounds. as you can clearly see with dwight, putting on weight, whether its muscle weight or fat, can be done even in when your in the nba. i got his rookie card right in front of me so dont question the height or weight. and how can you clearly state that dwight is much stronger when you dont even know what blake is capable of lifting, more or less what dwight is capable of lifting?

i never said he wasnt using his ability effectively?
he cant and probably never will shoot free throws better. Dwight cant be compared with Griffin, simply because do you see Blake Griffin being able to play against guys like Shaq? Dwight can handle Shaq no problem, Griffin would get destroyed by the Shaqtus

when you say that griffin plays off his speed and dwight off his size, your kinda saying that griffin just blows by players where as howard just goes over them. you definetly are implying, whether you realize it or not, that griffin does not use his size and strength, but his speed. ok well once again, how are we gonna know how griffin compares to players like shaq in his rookie year. shaq most likely lit up dwight when dwight was a rookie. nowadays, dwight can handle shaq easily. also your comparing a 23-24 year old player to a 37 year old. most rookies are going to be handled by seasoned nba veterans, give them time and they'll make up for it.

well first off, id like to say that that is very impressive... secondly he said, a legit 6'9, saying hes definetly 6'9, but he could be more. along with the athleticism can only go so far, im just gonna bring in dwight again. his athleticism gets double doubles night in and night out... granted if he had more of a game besides dunking he could do a lot more, but still hes 21-14 night in and night out. besides, blake is WAY more developed in the post then dwight. dwights getting there, but he's still behind blake. he just has an overall understanding of what move to use depending on what style the defender is playing him, which can take a lot of time to develop. blake understands how to split double teams to get to the hoop, and when a shot goes up, hes determined to get it. all of those are qualities of many of the big men in todays game that can truly dominate the low blocks.
Dwight is a center, Griffin is a big 3 or a average-small 4...If he averages 17-10 his rookie year i'll say he's dwight/stoud esque, if not don't see it coming...

anyone can touch the backboard when their 6'10.
sorry i just had to fix that...
i read in espn the mag the other day that rubio (even if he is eligible for this year) will have a hard time getting in, because he has a multi-year contract with his team in spain. just wat i read. NOW, into the fray.
First off, to all you blake griffin haters...
HE'S A LEGITIMATE 6'10!
just cuz players like earl boykins exaggerate their height doesnt mean they do that in college. Ok, so maybe he's 6'10 with SHOES ON!!! that means that hasheem thabeet is probably 7'3 with shoes on... and hears another thing. how is anyone hear gonna say hes not 6'10, when o wait, who has seen him play live before? as far as any of us know, no one except Filthy has. so until YOU stand next to him or near him, please, no more comments about his height. maybe he doesnt have the most developed game outside of ten feet. so.... whats your point... ever seen this one guy named dwight howard play? ya ok he got one inch on blake, and a little more athleticism... but hes averaging i think 21-14 at 6'11. so for anyone saying that he cant be dominant at his height, you really cant be further off. anyone doubting the athleticism? need i bring up the fact that he hit his HEAD (i think he came up with his hand on his temple area) on the BACKBOARD? id be surprised to find out how many people on here can dunk, more or less touch the backboard with their hands.... so please, stop ripping on blake, hes the best player in this draft hands down.

Erick Dampier is pretty close, but then again he's not your average human...

Ricky Rubio is NOT good guys. WAY undersized, not a scorer. I watch him every summer when i go to Spain and also in this summer's Olympics...boy, this kid is way overrated, and I really dont get what people see in him.
