hardly like Darko, Darko was terrible and never played...and still is bad..

the problem is he doesnt fit in an offense where everyone shares the ball, and is not this quick run and gun offense, if you watch enough Pistons games with Iverson, you'd see he runs around in circles and passes the ball without the players knowing when he might do so...

He had a long time of starting, without the lineup changing, with Sheed/Prince/Iverson/Hamilton/Stuckey

they wanted to get "bigger" so they bench Hamilton solely because of Iversons past, Iverson then takes stupid shots, stupid turnovers, makes the people around him worse, and the Pistons play better when he was out and Rip started, so he gets moved to the bench, he then says he accepts the role and will do as he is told...

then when he only plays 18 minutes complains about it and says "they rushed me back for this?" So to the contrary of what you think, the Pistons must want him if they wanted him to comeback to soon from injury..

he needs to shut his mouth because no one cares, his skills are deminishing, theres no denying it

his skills are diminishing, or are the pistons diminishing his skills? did fine in phili and denver, then gets to detroit and his career sinks, just like every other player that joins detroit after playing with another team.

i doubt he cares about his scoring average. i dont see why you think that is the reason. he is the guy who whe nis on the fast break will throw it off the backboard to the player who doesnt score as much behind him.

i do agree that his remarks werent necisarry, but it was his way of stressing his frustration. if this were any other player i dont think it would be a made a big deal about, however, playing 18 minutes a game, will not do anything for him or the pistons.

in 18 minutes he was able to lose the game for the Pistons all by himself for poor decision making...

He's a shoot-first PG-sized player! Of course he cares about his scoring average! How many 6' players score 28 ppg for their career?

wow, this may be the worse comment i've ever heard? Pistons make players worse? Ever hear of Ben Wallace? How has he done since he left the Pistons, wasnt he the DPOY a few times?

How about Chauncey Billups or Richard Hamilton, they both were terrible when the Pistons got him, or Antonio McDyess, his career went in the tank once he was signed by Detroit...

clearly you have no idea what you are saying

here was my quote, i called this one

"As a Pistons fan, i am alittle sketchy on this, everyone says this is good. its really detremental to the team in my opinion. Chauncey was a clutch shooter and a top 5 point guard, he opened up people because teams feared his 3 point ability. his flaw was though that he usually wasnt agressive enough in wanting to shoot.

the upside that you all may of forgot, is Rodney Stuckey may be the starting PG come next season if they dont resign AI..

hopefully Iverson will FINALLY put his ego aside and play TEAM basketball. Joe Dumars is a great GM so i dont think he would bring him in unless he thought it would be a great fit "

apparantly he still doesnt want to play team Basketball or put his ego aside
