Topps Signature
just got done watching two video breaks and contemplating what i saw. are auto'd cards, numbered as high 6225, gonna have any value to them? check out youtube and watch some of these breaks and look at these ridiculous serial numbers. is there going to be any value to these cards?

I'm staying away from this stuff, such high numbered autos take away value. If you check many of the auctions on ebay the sellers won't even specify what they are numbered too.

Yea id back off of this product as well. It looks like Topps is trying to dump off all of their autos before they're given the boot. I mean c'mon, 6225?!?!? thats just TOO high. I might buy a pack or two at the most, but staying away from a whole box. thanx! :)

There are some positives, *Look for 1 Group “A” player autographs such as: Dwight Howard, Bill Russell, Chris Paul, and Magic Johnson in every box!
And,
INSTANT WIN CARDS
- These randomly inserted cards can be redeemed for authentic one-of-a kind Autographed NBA Draft Memorabilia such as team and player draft board placards signed by Deron Williams, Danny Granger and more.

Yeah but it's not positive if the "A Class" players AUTO you are getting is out of 5,000 or some ridiculous number. The only thing that makes "Group A" players valuable is that they dont sign a ton of autographs, and those AUTOs are usually harder to get than 1 per box.
The instant win cards are probably impossible to get. Nothing good can come of this.

i agree that the numbers are way too high also, but it only makes sense for topps to do it to clear out their sticker inventory. they quite frankly dont care if it saturates the market cause they are done with card producing for a while haha

That's why I stick to on card autos when possible for my superstars. I really hate these sticker and cut signatures. After signing the first 1,000, it's safe to assume the auto quality gets degraded. Unless the player is deceased, there's no reason to produce a cut auto. Collectors still buy them though.

look at the card design......
no different between the base cards, RC cards and even the Autograph cards..
not even parallels in different colors,
just stick a signed sticker onto the base card............ thats all....

it not like topps will never get to produce nba cards again. this is just something that panini thought it had to do business wise and well, the just had the cash at the time. Topps could have just come out with a nice product, sweet(well sticker)auto's and saved the 1.3 billions stickers they had till they resumed producing nba again. oh well.
