The 2005-06 SP Authentic Chris Paul RC Auto was number out of 1299. Yet those are selling for quite a bit. As is Deron Williams and Andrew Bynum. The Rose is numbered to under 700 and there are no parallels. I guess I look at it as the glass is half full, while others see it as half empty.

I dont fault Topps for clearing out their inventory. Im curious if they released print run info. Seems like people have been taken back by the huge print run's.

(Oh by the way Real, I purchased a Ewing UD Premier card from you on the bay. GREAT CARD. TY!!!!)

The rookie auto's should maintain value pretty well as long as the player continues to perform well.

That can't be said for the veteran auto's though. Take away set builders and player collectors, that still leaves probably 500 or so still out there without any serious bidders. That is for group A auto's. Imagine the demand for a Sam Perkins auto numbered over 1,000 in 3-4 months.

I can, and it's going to be a fairly easy and relatively cheap set to build once the initial high of a new product is gone. Wouldn't it be funny if Topps had like one player who was short-printed to some really low number, just to mess with us?
