Topps!!! No more redemptions honored!!!!
I just spent the last 45 minutes on the phone with 2 different Topps employees. This morning, I received an email, stating that they were "beyond" their 15 weeks time alloted to send redemptions. So I was a little confused, so I thought I would call to clarify.......because I have the following redeemed cards waiting to be delivered.......
08-09 Topps Chrome Mario Chalmers auto (redeemed 6 months ago)
08-09 Topps Murad Kosta Kufos auto (redeemed 2 months ago)
07-08 Finest Al Thornton auto refractor
07-08 Finest Eric Gordon Black Refractor
07-08 Finest Brandon Rush XFractor
And, I wont receive any of them. Straight out of the guys mouth. He said, He's sorry...but because its basketball, thats how it is going to be. He said I would recieve a replacement. And heres the kicker....... He stated that all redemption replacements from any Topps basketball product from this day forward would be from "08-09 TOPPS SIGNATURE." Needless to say...Im not happy!!!
My suggestion to everyone, would be to not purchase any more Topps basketball products.Last edited by Filthy; 04-28-2009 at 12:48 PM.

That sucks man.. I bet they found another 6000 Yi stickers and thought they would give them as redemption replacements...

Topps is obviously doing an impression of Cartman from South Park: "Screw you guys, I'm going home." I guess they figure that because they're not doing basketball anymore, they have no obligation to their customers in regard to basketball products. They don't seem to realize that anyone they alienate won't buy anything else of theirs, either.

Wow. I've been having a number of customer service issues with smaller sellers and such lately, but wow.
Apparently customer service has gone out the window, small businesses to large. Ironically, no such issues (not really anyway) with SCF members...

Wow. I wonder how limited the 07-08 draft cards will be now. I have received all of mine but one, and the last one was already shipped and is floating around the post office somewhere.
On a coincidental note, I did find it odd Topps said the Jameson Curry auto was suddenly in stock today. Maybe it will be a topps sig replacement. ha, I would actually prefer a Yi auto to a million!
Wow, thanks for the heads up! I was going to pick up some Finest boxes on-line!

there should be some law that prevents people from selling what they dont have.....oh wait thats called fraud! redemptions that are not fulfilled is basically fraud, they are selling a product that says you will get so and so, but it all depends.......oh he's not signing, or we didnt make the card, its not right. Topps will lose a BUNCH of its customers for doing that!! sorry to hear about that man!
