I just called them, and the guy said as long as the card is made and the redemptions are not expired then they will still be redeemed. I wonder if the information the OP received has not spread around the office yet or if there was a misunderstanding and only some of the cards will be replaced.

I just got that email as well. Mine was for a 08-09 Topps Cosigners RC Auto of Darrell Arthur too :(

I got the same email--I've been waiting for quite some time on a number of Ray Felton autos. Hope it's not true :(

I went round and round with the first guy, and then asked to talk to his manager. I was then told that any "autos" from ANY 08-09 Topps Basketball product that had to be redeemed, would not be redeemed.The next guy up the chain told me "word for word," that ANY autograph redemptions from ANY Topps basketball product sent in on or after April 25th, of 2009 would be replaced by a random Topps card. But, that at this time, all redemption replacements would all be coming from the "Topps Signature line." He also said that all Topps products previously scheduled to be released in the future for this year WILL NO LONGER be produced. And in his words...not mine..."We're basically washing our hands of basketball."

Im in the same boat mate, i have some very rear DJ Augustin's im still waiting on from over a month ago and just recieved an email saying they wont be able to give me the cards but will send out replacements. Im disgusted because they are cards i need for my collection and there is supposed to be #/15 of one and #/5 of the other.

I'll sue if they pop up on ebay anytime soon.

And people are already bashing Panini? In the face of all of the customer service crap UD and Topps have given us...

It is like we want to deny ourselves any possibility at better service with Panini, simply because these crappy companies are familiar.

Topps is angry because David Stern killed their cash cow, so they're taking it out on us. Well, I say we all get together and give them a good riddance present.

Well i guess we have the NBA to thanks for this whole mess. They are the ones that choose to not use them anymore so they have no obligation to work with anyone i guess. Just be lucky they didn't say to call Pinani. LOL
