bummer the ducks win game 6. Osgood played a great game...both ducks goals were off of deflections and/or powerplays..cant blame ozzy there. Wings just didnt get the bounces tonight. Also its really disgusting to see Getzlaf and Neidermeyer acting like total goons after the game was over. Also the classless Cory Perry trying to beat up Brian Rafalski who is just coming off of an injury. The league should suspend the ducks players, but the system is screwed up and will never penalize them for fighting after the whistle. Bunch of dirty goons. Hope the wings pull out the game 7 victory.

You sound like the Brian Hayward of the Red Wings.....
Detroit never does anything wrong and the other team is dirty....you should count the # of time the wings ran into Hiller or "tripped" over him.....but of course you never saw that happen....not saying Anaheim is not dirty.....but the Wings are not "angels" either...thats for sure

The only thing I believe should be looked at by the league is the elbow that Niedemeyer threw at Datsuk. That was totally uncalled for and clear intent to injure after the final horn had sounded.

I just hope Pavel comes out totally ****** about that. I am just hoping that fuels his fire to make a burnt duck party. I can only hope that helps as they will need it as anything can happen. Wish I could be a fly on the locker room walls to hear what was said in both dressing rooms before the game.

Anaheim is a joke with too many vetran dirty players. They pull the same cheap thug moves every year and the league lets them every year, theres only 1 way to make it stop a star ducks players must be injured everytime they pull this crap.

It should be sweet, you could not ask for a game seven to be set up any better.

the funny thing is you keep saying this, but you can never come up with any times the wings do this. The wings are not a dirty team by any means and never start fights after the whistle...its always the other team...and Im not being a homer...this is just a fact. the wings dont fight and dont cheap shot. Why else would they have the least penalty minutes and fighting majors, and the ducks the most???

even though I'm not a fan of the Wings and don't agree a lot with some of michiganice's views this one I can agree on. The Wings are not a dirty team at all, they're the best finesse team and one of the least physical teams in the league. They don't start anything because their toughest players in years past are gone.

Never a cheap shot,....This goal didnt count but if you look at the :57 mark - you will see Hossa actually crosschecks a Duck into Hiller and into the net before he hit the puck in the net....watch closely and dont blink as Wings fans tend to do in these moments....they just saw it should have been a goal....

Also, I dont understand why you think the NHL will never penalize them....you make it sound like they are a team of Ovechkins and they are untouchable.....IF the league thought they deserved punishment, they would....you dont think Pronger hasnt been suspended in the playoffs before...think again....

And you talk about Neiders Elbow.....uhhhhh what about Holmstroms elbow on Wisniewski - yeah accident and not intentional...I know...Holmstrom is innocent and just part of the game but in a fight the elbow is dirty....

Check out :15 or :30 of this one...Dirty? looks like an elbow in the face...oh and feet off the ice....but maybe it was just a clean smack in the face in the air...yeah - those things happen - part of the game....oh but ONLY the Ducks are goons...

Are the Sucks goon - heck yeah - not saying they are not - I hate the Sucks....Here is a clear "GOON" play - Cheap shot on Hudler...... 1:00 mark

All I am saying is the Wings are a finesse team....Their game is all about speed and skill....not a lot of toughness, but they are not "Angels" in the NHL...they have their cheap shots, just like every other team in the league....
I could not find any footage but I have seen a couple Wings trip over Hiller (interference) and not get called....it happens but dont go around saying the Wings are innocent of all charges out there....just ridiculous

I dont know why that kronwall hit wasnt a penalty...but it definitely should have been. The refs miss a lot of that stuff, and the ducks do it way more often. Also on that first video you can clearly see Todd Marchant (#22) shove Hossa in the back which pushes him into pronger as he dives for the puck in the crease...so you're wrong there. By the way I never see the wings running all these intereferences on hiller like you claim....but I do recall Scott Neidermeyer running over chris osgood in game 3 to score a goal.
